Through Parents as Teachers, you’ll be matched with a Family Support Specialist. They’ll meet with you monthly, in the comfort of your own home (or another location you prefer), to provide:

Fun activities you can do as a family

Developmental screenings

Resources for your child’s development (sleep, nutrition, milestones, social emotional regulation, etc.)

Resources for you as a caregiver (goal setting, mental health, family safety, etc.)

Candice McSpadden
Family Support Specialist
Candice grew up in California. During her time in California, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications at California State University, Fullerton.
Candice moved to Rawlins, Wyoming in 2011 and since then has considered it her home. The community of Carbon County has a a special place in her heart and appreciates all the amazing people she has met throughout the County that care and support the community. Rawlins has been a wonderful place to raise a family.
When not working as a Family Support Specialist, Candice enjoys spending time with her family, which includes the family dog, reading, long walks and travel (especially if it involves being close to the ocean).
